Accessorizing Outfits With Bracelets and Bangles

Bracelets and Bangles

For the fashion-oriented among us, there are few accessories which give off the same chic feel as a stylish bracelet or bangle. Custom jewelry like diamond rings or earrings from AAA Jewelry sparkle and set the tone, but a bracelet can accentuate the entire outfit in a special way.

Once you’ve purchased some of our fantastic products here, though, the name of the game is properly matching them to the rest of your fashion profile. Here are a few tips from the experts:

Color Coordination

You want to coordinate colors for the entire outfit, but this means more than just clothing. You can match with everything from hair style to earrings, and using stark contrasts can be a great look for many outfits. Avoid mixing metal types if you’re wearing multiple bracelets, unless there’s another accessory that organically ties the two together.

In addition, anyone with light or thin skin or who struggles with vein visibility on the arms can use bracelets as a perfect cover. Gold and yellow bracelets mimic skin colors and help neutralize those unsightly veins.

One Wrist, More Than One Bracelet

As a general rule of thumb, you don’t want to be wearing bracelets on both arms. The bracelet is often a focal point of your entire outfit, and two separate focal points isn’t really a good way to go.

Within whichever arm you’re choosing, though, it’s perfectly acceptable to stack up a bit. Bracelets might complement each other or put forth a great contrast. Make sure to coordinate the colors properly here, of course.

Bone Structure

Different bracelets will look different on different people. If you have bigger wrists, consider smaller bracelets to minimize that appearance. Smaller wrists are best with mid-sized bracelets or cuffs, and bangles are perfect if you have particularly long arms.

Sleeve Length and Comfort

Be sure to factor in the length of your sleeves in your outfit. Different bracelets will mesh best with different lengths, and long sleeves will obviously make most bracelets tougher to wear in style.

Above all else, though, go for a comfortable look! Feeling better about yourself will naturally lead to you looking better, and the rest can all follow behind. The thing that truly matters most is you feeling comfortable in your own style.
